1. Shorty Long (Frederick Earl Long), Singer (Here Comes the Judge), soul singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer forMotown’s Soul Records imprint. He was inducted into the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame in 1980.
2. David Alexander Paterson, politician, was a New York state senator and secretary of state, and deputy mayor of New York City, 55th Governor of New York, from 2008 to 2010. He was the first African American governor of New York and also the second legally blind governor of any U.S. state.
3. Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr., better known by his stage name Busta Rhymes, Rapp Artist, producer and actor. He is best known for highly skilled rapping technique, which involves rapping at a much faster rate, and to date has received eight Grammy nominations for his musical work.
